What is KidsTube.com?

KidsTube.com is a monitored video sharing website designed for kids. All user-generated content on KidsTube is monitored by our staff to ensure a family-friendly experience for users of all ages. At KidsTube, our members are encouraged to explore their creativity and share their ideas with other kids from all over the world.

How did KidsTube.com begin?

KidsTube.com was started out of concern for BJ & Laurie's son Ezra. Ezra began showing interest in playing guitar and was going to other popular video-sharing sites to find guitar instructional videos. The Crocker's quickly found out that these other sites were a breeding ground for profanity, negativity, and just outright mean-spirited conversations between members. There were several discussions about a kid-friendly video site where kids were free to upload their own videos, converse with other members about their videos, and most importantly, be encouraged to use their imaginations, and learn valuable technical skills with video cameras, computers, and more.

Is KidsTube.com Safe for my Child?

The staff at KidsTube.com consists of parents and grandparents and our main goal in creating KidsTube.com was to provide a safe place for kids to be creative online. Our staff is constantly monitoring video submissions, user comments, personal messages between members, and any other user-generated content displayed on KidsTube. This creates a safe, positive environment where kids can feel free to be creative, share their ideas, and get positive feedback from other members. We encourage our members to always respect each other when leaving comments and that constructive criticism is fine, but negative comments will not be permitted.

What's up with the Weekly Contests?

KidsTube.com holds Weekly Contests that start each Monday. We announce a topic, and our members create videos based on the topic. All video entries are viewed by our staff and one winner is selected to receive the prize for that week. We give away things like KidsTube.com T-Shirts, MP3 Players, Video Cameras, and all sorts of other things. If your child enters and wins a contest, we will send an email to the email address on file for that account and a parent or guardian must contact us and provide us with a mailing address and permission to send the KidsTube member their prize. Your mailing address will never be sold, rented, given, or kept for any reason. We use it to send the prize and nothing else. Look below for this week's Contest.

BJ Crocker

BJ, aka KidsTubeStaff is the President of KidsTube.com and handles day to day operations. BJ is the person to contact with questions, concerns, problems, etc.

BJ has always been interested in Web Design and Development, and when Ezra began learning to play guitar and watching instructional videos online, he quickly recognized the need for a monitored video sharing site for kids.

Laurie Crocker

A dedicated mother, wife and visionary behind KidsTube.com - Laurie wanted to find a great place for Ezra to upload and share video, but had little luck.

This prompted the discussion that eventually started KidsTube.com and Laurie enjoys seeing Ezra, Mitch, and all the other kids on KidsTube doing what they do best. Being Kids!

Sean Sanczel

Sean is the creator of the popular "Pencilman" series that can be seen here on KidsTube. He also creates many of the graphics and artwork for KidsTube.

Sean is an accomplished filmmaker, graphic designer and animator. He has received recognition and many awards for his writing, musicals, and animated shorts.

Seth Meinzen

Seth has a high entrepreneurial spirit and has been involved with over seven startup ventures. Seth has played a key role in creating and implementing marketing and sales strategies.

Seth received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Marketing, with an emphasis in Leadership, from Marietta College.

Dave & Debbie Crocker

Known as the GrandParents of KidsTube. Married for 35 years, Dave had a career in sales and Debbie in banking before launching a Toner Cartridge Recycling business together in 1992.

The year 2000 brought the sale of that business, and the beginning of our life as Grandparents. After enjoying several years of semi-retirement Kidstube.com was launched in January 08 with our son BJ and wife Laurie. We are proud to be involved with this kid-friendly project that Parents and Grandparents can feel comfortable introducing to their children.
